The MRSS Leader provides technical leadership throughout the MR site preparation and installation process. This role evaluates site conditions verifies compliance with MR environmental and structural requirements and recommends corrective measures to ensure successful MR system installation. The MRSS Leader plays a key role in risk mitigation cross-functional communication and vendor validation to deliver installation quality aligned with GE HealthCare standards.

Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
Site Suitability Assessment & Technical Support
- Work closely with Project Managers to guide installation planning resolve technical issues and ensure compliance with MR system requirements.
- Partner with global MR engineering teams and other stakeholders on complex or escalated site challenges.
- Support MR installation projects across AKA (ASEAN Korea Australia and New Zealand) Japan India and South Asia.
Vendor & Shielding Validation
- Assess new shielding vendors to ensure their designs materials and construction methods meet GE HealthCare standards.
- Provide technical approval or required improvement actions for vendor qualification.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Communication
Required Qualifications
- minimum 3 years of experience in MR medical equipment or site engineering (installation design or field engineering).
- Strong understanding of EMI magnetic shielding vibration analysis and MR environmental requirements.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings site surveys and engineering documents.
- Strong ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams and internal/external partners.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in English for regional and global collaboration.
Desired Characteristics
- Ability to use AutoCAD and interpret architectural drawings.
- Self-driven organized and able to manage multiple projects in parallel.
- Demonstrated ability to work across cultures and support multi-country projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
