Fameccanica is seeking a skilled Logistics Coordinator to manage and streamline their global supply chain operations. This is your opportunity to join a team that values operational efficiency compliance and excellence in international logistics. This is an in-office position.
Key Responsibilities:
- International Import/Export Coordination: Oversee global shipments prepare and process documentation and ensure smooth customs clearance with brokers and agencies.
- HTS Code Assignment & Trade Compliance: Accurately classify goods maintain up-to-date knowledge of tariffs and trade agreements and ensure compliance with international regulations.
- Local Carrier & Freight Management: Manage relationships with domestic carriers and 3PLs negotiate rates and monitor carrier performance.
- SAP ERP Utilization: Ensure accurate logistics data entry and reporting and maintain updated systems.
- Tariffs & Regulatory Compliance: Monitor tariffs (including Section 232/301) process documentation and collaborate on compliance with global trade laws.
- Process Improvement: Analyze costs propose efficiencies and optimize freight selection based on market trends.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the main contact for logistics and trade compliance building strong partnerships with brokers carriers and advisors.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 3 years experience in supply chain logistics import/export or customs compliance.
- Strong knowledge of HTS codes tariffs Section 232 documentation and country-specific trade regulations.
- Familiarity with free trade agreements country-of-origin rules and the first sale rule.
- Demonstrated experience with SAP ERP systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word Outlook PowerPoint).
- Excellent organizational problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Customs compliance certifications (CCS CTPAT).
- Knowledge of Importer Security Filing (ISF) customs valuation and trade preferences.
- Experience with international transportation providers (ocean air ground).
- Working knowledge of cargo insurance and claims processes.
