About the Role:The HR Intern will provide hands-on support across core People Operations Talent Acquisitionand office-related functions while gaining exposure to HR processes in a fast-growing technology company. This is a part-timerole based in the Arlington VA area anddesigned to support day-to-day HR operations recruiting coordination onboarding activities and office administration.
WhatYoullDo: - Support day-to-day HR operations including employee file maintenance and HRIS data updates
- Assist with recruiting coordination including scheduling interviews and supporting candidate communications
- Support onboarding activities such as new hire logistics welcome materials and first-day preparation
- Source review and screen candidate profiles and coordinate interviews with hiring managers and interviewers to support an efficient high-quality hiring process
- Partner with the People team on employee engagement initiatives including recognition programs and gift coordination
- Handle office-related responsibilities including checking physical mail shipping and mailing items and maintaining basic office supplies
- Provide administrative support for HR projects and ad hoc initiatives as needed
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive employee information
What You Bring: - Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources Business Administration Psychology or a related field
- Ability to work part-time (approximately 20 hours per week) during standard business hours
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Professional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Reliable proactive and comfortable working independently
- Local to the Arlington VA areaand able to come into the office 3-5 days a week
Bonus Points For: - Prior internship or administrative experience
- Interest in Human Resources recruiting or People Operations
- Familiarity withMicrosoft Officeor similar productivity tools
- Experience supporting office operations or administrative tasks
Compensation
- Base Hourly Range:$25.00 - 30.00 USD (depending on experience and location)
- Part-time position approximately 20 hours weekly
