Job Summary
Role: Junior Accountant
Working Hours: 8AM - 5PM (Mon - Fri) CST
Salary Range: USD 1200 - USD 2600 USD per month (The final offer is at the clients discretion and depends on the candidates interview result skills and experience.)

Role Overview:
We are hiring a Junior Accountant to support the day-to-day transactional accounting work as we rebuild our internal accounting department after transitioning away from an external consulting firm. This role is ideal for someone early in their accounting career who is highly detail-oriented and eager to grow into a more senior role over time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
- Assist with accounts payable:
- Prepare bills for payment
- Ensure proper documentation and approvals
- Support month-end close activities
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records
- Assist with journal entries and basic general ledger maintenance
- Support senior accountants with ad hoc accounting tasks and reporting
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting procedures
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field
- 12 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
- Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks NetSuite Xero or similar preferred)
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to follow processes and meet deadlines
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
