Job Summary
CEDA is looking for a Journeyman Pipefitters for our Bonnyville AB. location.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Install new mechanical equipment (e.g. pumps compressors air dryers converters heat exchangers relief valves pressure-reducing valves condensate tanks recirculation pumps booster pumps pneumatic controls coils isolation valves 3-way valves condensate traps)
- Fit up and prepare piping requiring welded joints
- Liaise and collaborate with other trades consultants and suppliers
- Cleans condensate traps and equipment strainers
- Provides occasional guidance to the primary function of others including training.
- Read and interpret drawings blueprints and specifications to determine layout requirements
- Cut openings for pipe in walls floors and ceilings using hand or power tools or machines
- Measure cut thread and bend pipe to required shape using hand and power tools
- Thread joints to join pipes and fabricate sections of piping system
- Install supports valves piping and control systems
- Test system for leaks using testing equipment
- Other duties as assigned
Role Specifications:
- Journeyman Pipefitter/Steamfitter (Red Seal preferred) required
- H2S Alive and CSO or CSTS First Aid required - Confined Space Fall Arrest (AWP) considered an asset.
- Receptive to change and can adapt to changing circumstances
- Able to provide a negative pre-employment drug and alcohol test booked by CEDA
