As our Restaurant Sales Team Lead for Israel you will take a key leadership role in driving the growth of SMB restaurants across the country. Youll lead and develop a large multi-role commercial team consisting of Restaurant Partnership Managers (RPMs) and Inside Sales Managersoverseeing all core sales motions within the restaurant vertical.

This role is essential to sustaining and strengthening Wolts commercial engine. You will manage the full sales lifecycle ensure scalable and high-quality acquisition processes and drive initiatives such as restaurant selection growth Wolt venue expansion and Wolt Benefits coverage. Your leadership will directly influence the variety quality and strategic expansion of our restaurant offerings across Israel.

Youll work closely with cross-functional teamsincluding Onboarding Merchant Operations and Account Managementto ensure seamless merchant experiences from first outreach through long-term partnership.

What youll be doing

Lead & Develop a High-Performing Commercial Team

  • Manage coach and inspire a large team of RPM (Restaurant Partnership Managers) and Inside Sales Managers.
  • Set clear goals run structured performance processes and support ongoing professional growth.
  • Play a key role in team-building through recruitment onboarding and continuous development.

Own the End-to-End Restaurant Acquisition Pipeline

  • Oversee all SMB acquisition activities ensuring strong execution across prospecting outreach negotiation and closure.
  • Drive commercial processes that expand:
    • Restaurant selection (increasing category and geographic coverage)
    • Wolt venue participation
    • Wolt Benefits venue coverage
  • Ensure collaboration with onboarding and operational teams to maintain a smooth merchant journey.

Guide Commercial Strategy & Negotiations

  • Support team members in building high-quality sustainable commercial partnerships.
  • Lead prioritization across markets and ensure alignment with national growth strategy.
  • Optimize sales processes to improve speed efficiency and merchant experience.

Champion Data-Driven Decision Making

  • Use CRM tools and analytical dashboards (Salesforce Looker Sheets) to track KPIs pipeline health and market dynamics.
  • Analyze trends and proactively identify opportunities for growth or operational improvements.
  • Forecast performance and ensure the team consistently meets or exceeds commercial targets.

Collaborate Cross-Functionally

  • Work closely with Merchant Operations Onboarding Account Management Marketing and Analytics teams to support merchant success and improve internal workflows.
  • Contribute to national initiatives that strengthen Wolts restaurant footprint and competitive positioning.

Our humble expectations

  • 5 years of B2B or field sales experience ideally with SMB merchants (restaurants retail FMCG or marketplace experience strongly preferred).
  • 3 years of experience leading commercial teams including coaching performance management and talent development.
  • Proven track record in revenue growth pipeline ownership and closing complex deals.
  • Excellent communication negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in Excel/Sheets; BI tool experience (Looker/Power BI) is a plus.
  • Highly proactive structured solution-oriented and driven by results.
  • Experience in the restaurant delivery or marketplace industries is an advantage.
  • Fluency in Hebrew and English (written and spoken). Additional languages such as Russian or Arabic are a plus.
