Actuary Associate Workplace Consulting

The Associate Consultant works with Senior Associates Consultants to provide advice to clients regarding their benefit programs with an initial emphasis in defined benefit plans. We work with you to develop their financial business and consultative skills. Your career path could range from a pension actuarial focus to a broad client strategy role guiding finance and human resource executives regarding their retirement health and welfare and employee communication needs.
Mathematics Actuarial Science or quantitative subject major preferred
Strong writing presentation and interpersonal skills
Intellectual curiosity creativity along with analytical and problem-solving skills
A high aptitude to learn new things quickly and adapt to new situations while being inventive and prioritizing responsibilities
Demonstrated commitment to the actuarial career path via a passing score on at least one Society of Actuaries examination
The Fidelity Workplace Consulting Group is comprised of over 600 professionals who help clients solve sophisticated problems. We offer a broad range of services that touch on every area of benefits design strategy funding communication and delivery. Most of the team comes from other leading consulting firms and all have experience in multiple industries. The client focus is on large companies with more than 5000 employees but have many valued relationships with smaller organizations as well.
Focus on annual pension actuarial valuations to determine cash and accounting requirements
Support merger and acquisition transactions as they impact corporate benefit programs
Assist clients optimally manage their employee benefits programs from a financial compliance and communications perspective
Design custom micro sites for a wide range of corporate compensation and benefits needs
Student loan assistance and tuition reimbursement for eligible employees

The base salary range for this position is $ USD per year.Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope geographic location candidates relevant experience and other factors.
