They are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to join their dynamic team.
Job Description:
Financial Management & Reporting
- Oversee preparation of monthly quarterly and annual financial reports ensuring accuracy and compliance with MFRS/IFRS.
- Provide management with timely cost and margin analysis whenever required.
- Monitor key financial KPIs.
- Ensure proper inventory valuation and reconciliation of raw materials WIP and finished goods.
Budgeting Forecasting & Cost Control
- Lead the annual budget and rolling forecasts in collaboration with production and procurement teams.
- Support pricing strategies and product profitability analysis.
Accounting Operations
- Oversees finance operations: accounts payable/receivable GL and inventory accounting.
- Ensure all transactions comply with company policies tax regulations and audit standards.
- Strengthen internal controls related to inventory management purchasing and cash handling.
Compliance Tax & Audit
- Ensure timely submission of statutory reports tax filings and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate external audits internal audits and stock counts.
- Implement and review internal controls to prevent fraud misappropriation and financial loss.
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead and mentor the finance team to strengthen analytical and operational finance skills.
- Drive continuous improvement in reporting systems ERP integration and data accuracy.
Requirements:
- A Degree in Accounting Finance ACCA CIMA CFA or other professional accounting qualification.
- At least 5 years of working experience in the related field.
- Strong understanding of financial accounting costing taxation & internal audit and reporting principles as well as relevant regulations and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in financial analysis budgeting and forecasting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across the organization
- Resourceful and energetic with an eye for details on strategic matters.
- Able to work independently as well as being a team-player with strong commitment to department/company harmony.
