Role: Senior Full Stack Developer (PHP/Laravel)

A digital solutions technology firm is looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer with deep PHP/Laravel experience. The position focuses on designing secure backend services building APIs and supporting web and mobile platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Design build and maintain backend systems using PHP/Laravel and modern frontend technologies.
Develop and support RESTful APIs for web and mobile applications.
Integrate payment gateways loyalty modules and real-time reporting tools.
Ensure system security performance and scalability.
Work closely with product UX DevOps and QA teams in an iterative delivery environment.
Provide technical mentorship and uphold development best practices.
Identify issues optimise systems and contribute to architectural improvements.

Requirements

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related discipline.
3 years of professional full-stack development experience with a backend emphasis.
Prior experience with payment systems or transaction-heavy platforms.
Proficiency in JavaScript frameworks such as React or Angular.
Strong knowledge of relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL) and API-centric design.
Exposure to cloud infrastructure (AWS or equivalent) and container technologies (Docker/Kubernetes).
Familiarity with analytics tools and mobile frameworks (Flutter or React Native) is an advantage.
Strong problem-solving ability documentation discipline and communication skills.
