Shift: Day shift with some flexibility required (including occasional weekend support)
Location: Metro Vancouver Regional District BC (must be local or willing to relocate)

HireNow Staffing is recruiting an experienced Millwright to join a well-established production facility in Vancouver. This opportunity is ideal for a trade-certified technician who thrives in fast-paced environments and is passionate about reducing downtime and supporting smooth safe operations.

What Youll Be Doing:

• Install repair and maintain production utility and support equipment

• Perform preventative maintenance routines to avoid breakdowns

• Troubleshoot systems including hydraulic mechanical and refrigeration

• Support production areas such as:

  • Conveyors and delivery systems

  • Cranes and unloading equipment

  • Freezers and ice-making machines

  • Cooled/temperature-controlled environments

• Fabricate or weld custom parts and supports when needed

• Conduct regular inspections and document maintenance records

• Assist with training plant staff on new equipment and safety procedures

• Respond to urgent equipment issues and support off-hours when necessary

What You Bring to the Table:

• Certified Millwright (Red Seal/BC Trade Qualification required)

• Minimum 2 years of industrial or plant-based maintenance experience

• Familiarity with pressurized systems boilers and refrigeration units

• Excellent troubleshooting skills with a calm methodical approach

• Comfortable working around food-grade machinery or cold storage equipment

• Willing to work a flexible schedule (Monday to Friday or Tuesday to Saturday shifts)

• Strong communicator and team collaborator

• Background in seafood food processing or manufacturing is a bonus
