The B2 Technician Light is responsible for performing avionics and electrical maintenance on light aircraft in accordance with approved maintenance manuals and regulatory requirements. This role involves inspection troubleshooting defect rectification and accurate documentation of aircraft avionics and electrical systems while ensuring the highest standards of safety quality and airworthiness at all times
Job Responsibilities
- Carry out scheduled and unscheduled avionics and electrical maintenance on light aircraft in accordance with approved maintenance manuals and procedures.
- Perform inspection testing troubleshooting and rectification of avionics navigation communication flight instrument and electrical systems.
- Diagnose and rectify defects on aircraft avionic systems wiring sensors and LRUs.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with EASA / GCAA / QCAA regulatory requirements and company procedures.
- Accurately complete maintenance documentation work cards logbooks and technical records.
- Support defect rectification during AOG situations when required.
- Maintain compliance with safety quality and airworthiness standards at all times.
- Coordinate effectively with B1 technicians engineers and maintenance teams.
- Ensure proper use care and calibration of tools and test equipment.
Job Requirements
- Valid B2 Aircraft Maintenance License.
- Minimum 4 years of hands-on aircraft maintenance experience (excluding training period).
- Proven experience in light aircraft avionics and electrical maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of aircraft electrical systems avionics and troubleshooting techniques.
- Familiarity with approved maintenance manuals wiring diagrams and schematics.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
- Good understanding of aviation safety practices and human factors.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
- Physically fit and able to work in a hangar and ramp environment.
