About the Role
he role exists to strengthen the organisations risk management capability by embedding a consistent and effective Enterprise Risk Management framework across all functions. It supports senior leadership in identifying assessing and monitoring strategic operational financial and compliance risks ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory expectations. The role contributes to proactive risk governance informed decision-making and continuous improvement of risk processes while supporting regulatory compliance ORSA activities and effective risk reporting to management and oversight committees. Strategic Risk Integration
- Embed enterprise risk management into corporate strategy and planning
- Support leadership in evaluating strategic and emerging risk exposures
- Align risk considerations with business objectives and risk appetite
ERM Framework Development
- Support the design implementation and enhancement of the ERM framework
- Ensure consistent application of risk methodologies across the organisation
- Maintain alignment with governance and regulatory standards
Risk Identification & Assessment
- Facilitate identification of strategic operational financial and compliance risks
- Support structured risk assessments across departments
- Ensure risks are clearly articulated assessed and prioritised
Risk Monitoring & Reporting
- Monitor risk exposures trends and key risk indicators
- Maintain corporate and departmental risk registers
- Produce clear and timely risk reports and dashboards
Governance & Committee Support
- Support effective risk governance and oversight structures
- Prepare materials for risk committees and working groups
- Track actions escalations and management responses
Regulatory & ORSA Support
- Support compliance with regulatory risk management requirements
- Contribute to ORSA processes stress testing and scenario analysis
- Assist with regulatory interactions audits and supervisory reviews
Risk Mitigation & Controls
- Support development and tracking of risk mitigation plans
- Monitor effectiveness of controls and action plans
- Encourage practical proportionate risk responses
Risk Culture & Continuous Improvement
- Promote a proactive and risk-aware culture across the organisation
- Support continuous improvement of risk policies and processes
- Enhance risk management capability through collaboration and guidance
Education Qualification and Requirements
Academic Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Risk Business Audit Accounting or Compliance
- Postgraduate or specialist risk qualification advantageous
- Recognised professional education background
2. Professional Credentials
- Risk Management certification preferred
- Audit compliance or governance certifications beneficial
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
3. Experience
- 610 years experience in ERM or risk roles within insurance or financial services
- Big 4 or top-tier consulting background preferred
- Experience dealing with regulators audits and risk committees
4. Core Skills
- Arabic and English Bilingual
- Strong analytical reporting and documentation skills
- Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency
- Familiarity with ERM tools and frameworks
