Job Title: Part-Time Senior Server Administrator

Job Description: We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Server Administrator to join our team on a part-time basis (10-15 hours weekly) as a mentor trainer and teacher. Daily meetings will get scheduled in which you are going to teach different aspects of IT. You do not have to create any Presentations Training Material or Slides. The training will be highly practical and a lot of break and fix will happen in our own test environment. No preparation is required. The topics will get discussed according to the required skills. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Windows Server 2019 and possess strong skills in network administration scripting and hybrid environments. The main role is to support and mentor our team in various technical areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain Windows Server 2019 environments.
• Handling Errors and Performance Issues on Windows Servers via (Eventviewer Perfmon IIS logs etc.)
• Handle certificate management and setup VPNs (OPNSense).
• Setup manage a DMZ
• Support and manage email-related topics including Cisco Email Security Appliance (Cisco ESA) and Veritas Enterprise Vault (optional).
• Provide mentorship and training to enhance the technical skills.
• Collaborate during flexible hours to accommodate different time zones and schedules.

Technical Requirements:

• Mandatory:
• • At least 10 Years of practical IT Experience
  • Extensive experience with Windows Server 2019.
  • Proficient in scripting languages (e.g. PowerShell Bash).
  • Basic understanding of hybrid environments with Microsoft 365 Cloud.
  • Strong networking experience.
  • Coding experience in C Core. (Optional as Bonus)
• Preferred Certifications:
• • Cisco CCNA
  • Microsoft M365 Fundamentals or higher

Desirable Experience:

• Prior experience in mentoring or teaching technical skills.
• Flexibility to work during night hours and weekends as required.

Work Schedule:

• Flexible hours to accommodate a full-time onsite job.
• Available for meetings during night times on days requiring onsite presence.
• More availability on offsite days and weekends.
