About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plumber to join our maintenance team at a prestigious beach resort located in Lekki-Ajah Lagos. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing maintaining and repairing all plumbing systems and water facilities including guest rooms public areas pools spas and coastal water treatment systems. This position requires a professional who has hands-on experience in water treatment operations and swimming pool maintenance with strong technical knowledge of resort-standard plumbing systems.
Key Responsibilities
1. Installation & Maintenance

Install repair and maintain plumbing systems including water supply lines valves drainage and sewage systems.

Handle installation and maintenance of plumbing infrastructure in guest rooms kitchens and public facilities.
2. Water Treatment & Pool Maintenance
-
Operate maintain and troubleshoot water treatment systems filtration units and pumps.

Ensure swimming pools fountains and spas are properly chlorinated filtered and meet hygiene standards.

Test water quality regularly to maintain safety and compliance.
3. Preventive Maintenance
-
Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks to detect leaks blockages or pressure issues.

Take corrective action to prevent system failures and ensure continuous operation.
4. Emergency Response
-
Respond promptly to plumbing emergencies to minimize downtime and guest inconvenience.
5. Compliance & Safety
-
Adhere strictly to local building codes environmental regulations and safety protocols.

Maintain a clean and safe workspace at all times.
6. Inventory & Documentation
-
Manage plumbing materials tools and spare parts inventory.

Maintain accurate service records and report maintenance activities to the Maintenance Supervisor.
7. Collaboration
-
Work closely with electricians technicians and other facility maintenance staff to deliver coordinated service.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education:
-
Minimum: SSCE/WAEC with at least 10 years of relevant experience.
-
Preferred: OND/NCE or equivalent in Plumbing Mechanical Engineering Building Technology or related technical field with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
Experience:
-
Proven hands-on experience as a plumber in a hospitality resort or facility maintenance environment.

Demonstrated experience with pool systems filtration units and water treatment operations is mandatory.
Skills & Competencies:

Excellent knowledge of plumbing systems water treatment equipment and pool circulation systems.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.

Strong diagnostic troubleshooting and repair skills.

Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor in all weather conditions.

Good communication teamwork and time management skills.

High attention to detail and professional work ethic.
Other Requirements:

Must be reliable punctual and able to start work at 6:00 AM daily.

Valid plumbing trade license or certification is an added advantage.
Compensation & Benefits
