Job Summary

Job Purpose:

The Depot/Terminal Supervisor oversees daily depot operations to ensure safe efficient and compliant processes across HSE maintenance financial controls shipping and cylinder management. The role manages stock levels monitors operational KPIs and coordinates with Supply Engineering Customer Service and thirdparty contractors to maintain uninterrupted operations and high service standards. Responsibilities include supervising staff training ensuring regulatory and safety compliance maintaining accurate stock records supporting emergency preparedness and completing all required operational and HSSE reporting. The Supervisor also ensures proper maintenance of safetycritical equipment and adherence to all work permit and safety procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the depots activities on a day-to-day basis for the business ensuring full compliance with all:
    • Operating Procedures
    • Financial Controls and Processes
    • Terminal HSE Case procedures (Document custodian)
    • Maintenance procedures
    • Shipping and Marine procedures
    • Cylinder Management Policy
  • Ensure all Terminal operations and maintenance are carried out within agreed financial budgets and strive to deliver cost savings within a safe operating environment
  • Coordinate with Supply to maintain optimum stock levels by working closely with Supply functions to ensure continuous supply of product to minimize potential for stock outs.
  • Plan manage and monitor productivity and operational statistics KPIs and customer service standards taking corrective actions to improve where appropriate
  • Implements physical and financial stock accounting collection control & material management according to Companys principles and guidelines
  • Coordinates with Engineering/Technical department for corrective and preventative maintenance of the Terminal
  • Maintain effective working relationship with Customer Service and other business functions to optimize Terminal efficiency service to customers and metal management
  • Ensure that all filling Terminal staff are competent and well trained for their duties and emergency responses
  • Monitor compliance of third-party operators to contract obligations and regularly review their performance based on pre-agreed KPIs
  • Liaise with neighboring oil companies local government units military and police authorities to facilitate preparedness during emergency situations and to ensure license to operate in the area.
  • Maintain accurate stock records cylinder reconciliation with timely reporting as laid down by the company procedures
  • To ensure that the contents (Loads) of all vehicles entering and leaving the site agree with the vehicle manifest.
  • To organize and actively participate in Terminal /Depot Safety meetings toolbox discussions and competence assessments and development of depot staff.
  • Preparation and on time submission of plant highlights reports for weekly/monthly KPI monitoring and delivery of objectives.
  • Monthly monitoring/submission of the following reports: Storage LSVs G-AMS Leakers TBM HSSE monthly meetings PI/STOP HSSE/G-AMS RAP Tracker.
  • Accomplish G-AMS surveillance as scheduled (if applicable).
  • Conduct safety briefing project implementation guidelines and Work Permit issuance for contractors before working in the plant.
  • Conduct gas testing and oxygen level testing when required.
  • Ensure regular inspection calibration and preventive maintenance of safety-critical equipments including fire fighting equipment assets facilities structures. Monitoring records/documents should be kept on file

Qualifications

  • A graduate of Mechanical Engineering or equivalent course
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in oil and gas terminal or plant operations
  • Professional license preferred
  • Has LPG and HSSE background and certification
