About the Role
As an Acquisition Associate Mineral & Royalty Acquisitions you will be on the front lines of the companys growth strategy. This is a sales-first role centered on initiating conversations with mineral owners negotiating transactions and closing deals. You will manage the acquisition process end-to-end from first contact through execution in a performance-driven environment where persistence resilience and follow-up are critical. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in high-volume outbound sales and relationship-driven deal making.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct high-volume outbound calling texting and emailing to mineral owners

Initiate conversations build rapport and uncover seller motivation

Negotiate mineral royalty and related asset transactions

Maintain disciplined follow-up to convert leads into closed deals over short or extended sales cycles

Manage pipeline activity notes and follow-ups within the CRM system (Zoho)

Own acquisition opportunities from first contact through closing

Operate in a fast-paced performance-driven sales environment with daily activity expectations

Collaborate with internal valuation and execution teams while remaining focused on sales and closing
Requirements

13 years of experience in high-volume sales cold calling or transactional closing roles

Comfort with rejection and working in metrics-driven environments

Competitive resilient and self-motivated personality

Strong negotiation communication and relationship-building skills

Experience using CRM systems preferred (Zoho a plus not required)

Oil and gas industry experience helpful but not required
