Insurance Defense Litigation Attorney
Overview
This position supports a busy New York City litigation practice and offers the opportunity to work on a broad range of insurance defense matters. The role is well suited for an attorney who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys collaborating with a team while gaining hands-on litigation experience.
Responsibilities
- Handle insurance defense litigation matters at various stages of the case lifecycle.
- Draft pleadings motions discovery materials and internal legal memoranda.
- Participate in depositions mediations hearings and settlement discussions.
- Work closely with attorneys clients and insurance carriers to support case strategy.
- Conduct legal research and assist with trial preparation and case development.
- Track deadlines and ensure compliance with New York court rules and procedures.
Qualifications

Active admission to the New York Bar.

Litigation experience in insurance defense or a related practice area.

Strong organizational and communication skills.
