Position Overview
This role supports a critical illness recovery environment serving chronically and critically ill patients requiring extended post-ICU care. As a Registered Dietitian you will play an essential part in guiding patients through some of the most challenging phases of their recovery delivering high-quality evidence-based nutrition therapy with compassion and expertise.

Key Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nutritional care through assessment development implementation and monitoring of individualized Medical Nutrition Therapy plans.

Collaborate closely with physicians nursing therapy teams food service patients and families to ensure nutrition plans are executed effectively.

Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments and re-assessments set goals recommend interventions and monitor progress.

Develop initiate and monitor enteral and parenteral nutrition support regimens.
-
Partner with Speech Therapy to safely advance modified diets and optimize oral intake.

Review and clarify nutrition-related admission orders to align with facility diet protocols and nutrition support formulary.

Incorporate cultural religious and personal preferences into nutrition care planning.

Maintain and update therapeutic diet manuals and educate clinical and food service teams on nutrition guidelines and resources.

Stay current with nutritional practices maintain professional registration requirements and pursue continuing education.

Assess potential food/drug and supplement interactions.

Participate in interdisciplinary meetings to communicate patient progress and needs.

Assist in menu planning and standardization initiatives.

Conduct regular meal rounds to ensure diet accuracy and quality standards.
Minimum Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Food and Nutrition or a related field.

Active state licensure/certification (as applicable).

Current registration through the Commission on Dietetic Registration.

At least one year of clinical experience in a healthcare facility or equivalent setting.
