Job Summary
Operations Manager Industrial Services / Field Operations
A leading industrial services company is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee daily service operations scheduling logistics safety and workforce performance. This role ensures that field and service teams deliver high-quality work safely efficiently and profitably while maintaining strong communication with customers and internal partners.
Key Responsibilities

Lead daily operations for service field and administrative teams.

Oversee scheduling dispatching workflow execution and service delivery.

Monitor KPIs including productivity labor utilization backlog response times and profitability.

Ensure all work meets safety quality and industry standards.
-
Support technicians through coaching jobsite walk-throughs and issue resolution.
-
Hire train and mentor field staff supervisors and coordinators.
-
Maintain strong customer relationships and serve as a point of escalation when needed.

Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and company safety policies.

Review purchase orders job costs work orders and invoicing.
-
Support budgeting forecasting labor planning and process improvements.
What You Bring
-
5 years of operations leadership experience in industrial service crane service mechanical heavy equipment or related fields.

Experience in crane/hoist environments is highly preferred.

Strong understanding of field service workflows scheduling and resource planning.

Technical aptitude mechanical electrical or industrial background preferred.

Proficiency with service management systems and MS Office.

Experience with Lean Six Sigma or similar process improvement methods.

Strong communication customer service and decision-making skills.
-
Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

Ability to travel occasionally to job sites.

Must meet background check and drug screen requirements.
Work Environment
Combination of office and field settings; may involve occasional exposure to heights loud environments and outdoor conditions. PPE is provided.
