Project Management Consultant - Energy Storage Projects

Location: Juno Beach FL (On-site required)
Pay Rate: $35/hour

Overview
Our client is a leading energy company seeking a Project Management Consultant to support the pre-construction management of energy storage projects across Arizona and New Mexico. This entry-level role (0-5 years experience) offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge renewable energy technology while developing project management expertise in a dynamic fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
Manage multiple energy storage projects simultaneously across various development stages
Coordinate highly matrixed project development teams to ensure optimal resource allocation
Interface with environmental regulatory cultural land acquisition and interconnection stakeholders
Develop technical project scopes and optimize project variables for improved feasibility
Support PPA and GIA negotiations with origination teams
Build and maintain project schedules using Smartsheet and other PM tools
Coordinate engineering estimating and procurement requirements
Analyze key performance metrics and financial data to support decision-making
Present financial models to business units and manage through executive approvals
Source negotiate and execute contracts for geotechnical survey engineering and construction services
Prepare comprehensive project turnover packages for construction phase
Travel to project sites as needed (up to 25%)

Requirements
Associates degree in Engineering Project Management Land Surveying or related field
0-5 years of project management experience preferably in construction/renewables
Experience with project management software (Microsoft Project Smartsheet)
Strong organizational skills and excellent communication abilities
Valid drivers license with clean driving record (no alcohol/drug offenses in 5 years)
Ability to work on-site 5 days per week in Juno Beach FL
PMP certification preferred
