We are looking for a reliable and knowledgeable HR Officer to manage and support core human resources functions ensuring smooth HR operations and compliance with U.S. labor laws. This remote role involves employee relations HR administration recruitment support and policy implementation. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented people-focused and capable of handling HR responsibilities independently.
Key Responsibilities
HR Operations & Administration

Maintain accurate and confidential employee records in HRIS

Manage attendance leave records and employee documentation
-
Prepare HR letters contracts and reports
Recruitment & Staffing Support

Support end-to-end recruitment including job postings screening and interview coordination
-
Coordinate with hiring managers and external recruiters
-
Maintain applicant tracking systems and recruitment data
Employee Relations
-
Act as a point of contact for employee HR queries
-
Assist in handling employee concerns grievances and disciplinary processes
-
Support employee engagement and retention initiatives
Onboarding & Offboarding
Compliance & Policy Implementation
-
Ensure compliance with U.S. federal state and local labor laws

Assist in drafting updating and communicating HR policies
-
Support internal and external HR audits
Performance & Development Support

Assist in performance appraisal processes
-
Support training and development initiatives
-
Track employee performance documentation
Required Qualifications
-
Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field

24 years of experience in an HR Generalist or HR Officer role
-
Working knowledge of U.S. employment laws and HR practices
-
Strong communication organizational and interpersonal skills
-
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Preferred Qualifications

HR certification (SHRM-CP PHR or equivalent)

Experience working with remote or multi-state U.S. employees
-
Familiarity with HRIS ATS and payroll systems
