Project Management Consultant - Level 3 Senior

Overview
Our client is a leading energy company seeking an experienced Project Management Consultant to oversee critical power generation projects. This role involves managing complex construction projects coordinating with multiple stakeholders and ensuring compliance with safety budget and scheduling requirements. The position offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge energy infrastructure projects in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage assigned projects ensuring compliance with budgetary scheduling and safety goals
- Supervise power plant overhaul/outage planning and execution work
- Act as Owner Representative coordinating with vendors and contractors
- Assess productivity schedule compliance work quality and safety performance
- Interface with suppliers regulatory agencies and community officials
- Oversee scope control budget oversight and performance reporting
- Lead technical execution and risk mitigation strategies
- Ensure proper resource allocation and resolve field issues
- Host pre-bid/pre-construction meetings and status updates
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Project Management or related field
- 11-15 years of construction project management experience
- Minimum 7 years Generator maintenance experience in Power Generation industry
- Experience with Steam/Combustion turbines HRSG Boiler or Valve maintenance
- Proficiency with PM scheduling software (Microsoft Project Smartsheet)
- PMP Certification preferred
- Physically fit to work in industrial environments with PPE
- Ability to qualify for company LOTO requirements
- Strong organizational and communication skills
