Korzen Health is seeking a dedicated Pulmonologist to develop and grow a comprehensive pulmonary program serving Los Angeles County Valley and surrounding communities. This is a unique opportunity for a physician to play a pivotal role in shaping high-quality pulmonary services in a community-focused collaborative environment.
Practice Setting:
The provider will be based at a community hospital and will have the opportunity to work in both outpatient and inpatient settings while contributing to program development and multidisciplinary care initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Outpatient (Clinic):

Evaluate and manage a wide range of pulmonary conditions including asthma COPD ILD pulmonary nodules pulmonary hypertension and sleep-related respiratory disorders.

Provide longitudinal management of complex oncology-related pulmonary issues in collaboration with medical and radiation oncology.

Coordinate care with primary care physicians cardiologists oncologists thoracic surgeons and other specialists.
Inpatient (Hospital):
-
Provide consultative pulmonology services for admitted patients including ED and non-ICU consults.

Support hospitalists and intensivists with respiratory management and diagnostic evaluations.

Perform general bronchoscopy thoracentesis and other core pulmonary procedures.
-
Participate in multidisciplinary conferences (e.g. tumor board) and quality initiatives.

Collaborate with hospitalists and intensivists to optimize respiratory care and pathways.
-
Manage complex patients across ED ICU and general medical units (approximately two weeks of hospital call coverage per month).
Program Development & Quality:
- Assist in the creation of protocols pathways and quality initiatives related to lung cancer screening lung nodule management COPD and other pulmonary conditions.
- Engage in community outreach physician education and program development initiatives.
Qualifications:

MD or DO from an accredited institution.

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pulmonary Disease.

Pulmonary & Critical Care fellowship-trained preferred (critical care coverage optional depending on role design).

Eligible for California medical license and DEA.
