Jefferson Health is seeking board-certified or board-eligible Pulmonologists to join our growing multidisciplinary pulmonary care teams across various regions including our academic flagship campuses and community-based hospitals such as those within the Einstein Healthcare Network. We offer a diverse range of practice environments from high-acuity academic centers with teaching opportunities to community-focused hospitals with a strong emphasis on personalized care.The ideal candidate will demonstrate clinical excellence in pulmonary medicine a commitment to patient-centered care and the ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team. Opportunities exist in both outpatient and inpatient settings with flexibility to align with your clinical interests including critical care advanced bronchoscopy or subspecialty niches.
Job Description
- Provide comprehensive diagnosis management and treatment of pulmonary conditions including asthma COPD interstitial lung disease pulmonary hypertension and sleep-related disorders
- Interpret pulmonary function tests chest imaging and sleep studies
- Perform and interpret bronchoscopies and other pulmonary procedures (as applicable)
- Participate in inpatient consults and/or ICU coverage (based on site-specific needs)
- Collaborate with critical care thoracic surgery radiology and oncology teams
- Document care in a timely and accurate manner using electronic medical records (EMR)
- Engage in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education
- Teach and mentor residents fellows and medical students (at academic sites)
- Participate in departmental and hospital-wide meetings and initiatives
