Salary Range: $81000 - $126000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop implement and maintain EHS policies procedures and programs in compliance with all applicable regulations.
• Conduct regular EHS risk assessments inspections and audits to identify hazards and ensure compliance.
• Lead incident investigations root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Manage and deliver EHS training programs for all employees ensuring awareness and competency.
• Oversee hazardous waste management environmental permits and pollution prevention initiatives.
• Drive continuous improvement in EHS performance through data analysis goal setting and strategic planning.
• Liaise with regulatory agencies internal stakeholders and external vendors on EHS matters.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety Environmental Science Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive EHS experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Thorough knowledge of OSHA EPA and other federal state and local EHS regulations.
• Professional EHS certification (e.g. CSP CIH CHMM) is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to develop implement and manage comprehensive EHS programs and management systems.
• Strong leadership communication and training skills with a focus on driving EHS culture.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
• Experience working in a unionized manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with EHS management software platforms (e.g. Intelex Gensuite).
• Demonstrated experience integrating sustainability initiatives into EHS programs.
