Key Responsibilities

Diagnose troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical systems and machinery.
Install maintain and inspect electrical control systems and wiring.
Perform preventative maintenance on electrical equipment and components.
Read and interpret electrical schematics blueprints and technical manuals.
Ensure compliance with electrical codes safety regulations and company policies.
Calibrate and test electrical instruments and control devices.
Document all maintenance and repair activities accurately.

Recommended Qualifications

Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent industrial electrical certification.
Proficiency in diagnosing troubleshooting and repairing complex industrial electrical systems motor controls and automation equipment.
Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) for troubleshooting modification and integration.
Strong understanding and adherence to NFPA 70E Lockout/Tagout procedures and other electrical safety standards.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics blueprints and technical manuals.

Bonus Qualifications

PLC programming and diagnostic experience (e.g. Siemens Allen-Bradley)
Experience with robotic systems electrical troubleshooting and maintenance
Advanced Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) programming and optimization
Industrial network troubleshooting experience (e.g. Ethernet/IP Profibus)
NFPA 70E Qualified Person certification
