The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily production operations to meet output and quality targets.
Manage train and evaluate production staff fostering a productive team environment.
Monitor production schedules and adjust resources to ensure timely completion of orders.
Implement and enforce safety regulations and procedures maintaining a safe work environment.
Ensure adherence to quality control standards and product specifications.
Identify and troubleshoot production issues implementing corrective actions promptly.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize manufacturing processes and efficiency.

Recommended Qualifications

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
Proven leadership and team management skills including training motivation and performance evaluation.
Solid understanding of manufacturing processes production planning and scheduling.
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot production issues and implement effective solutions.
Familiarity with quality systems (e.g. Lean Manufacturing Six Sigma) and continuous improvement methodologies.
Strong communication interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

Bonus Qualifications

Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification
Bilingual proficiency (e.g. Spanish)
Experience with specific ERP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle Plex)
Formal leadership development training or certification
Familiarity with advanced manufacturing technologies (e.g. automation robotics)
