Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement strategic purchasing plans and policies.

Recommended Qualifications

5 years of progressive purchasing and supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment.
Proven expertise in strategic sourcing vendor negotiation and supplier relationship management.
Strong command of ERP/MRP systems and purchasing software.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities for cost reduction market analysis and performance metrics.
In-depth understanding of manufacturing processes materials and quality requirements.
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management Business Engineering or a related field.

Bonus Qualifications

Lean/Six Sigma certification or equivalent experience in process improvement methodologies
Experience with international sourcing logistics and customs compliance
Proficiency in advanced data analytics or business intelligence tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau) for spend analysis and supplier performance tracking
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or demonstrated experience managing complex procurement projects
Specific industry experience (e.g. automotive aerospace electronics) relevant to the company's manufacturing sector
