Key Responsibilities

• Install set up and commission new robotic systems and peripherals.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and inspections on industrial robots.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose complex mechanical electrical and software issues in robotic cells.
• Repair or replace defective robotic components wiring and end-effectors.
• Calibrate and program robot paths sequences and logic for manufacturing tasks.
• Monitor robot performance make adjustments and optimize for efficiency and quality.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities repairs and system modifications.

Recommended Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Robotics Mechatronics Industrial Automation or a related technical field.
• Proven experience with industrial robot programming setup and troubleshooting (e.g. Fanuc ABB KUKA).
• Proficiency in PLC programming and ladder logic troubleshooting (e.g. Allen-Bradley Siemens).
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills including motor controls sensors and pneumatic/hydraulic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical mechanical and pneumatic schematics and blueprints.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with robot simulation software (e.g. RoboGuide Process Simulate)
• Familiarity with industrial vision systems and their integration
• Certification or advanced training on specific robot brands (e.g. FANUC KUKA ABB)
• Basic CAD software proficiency for reviewing layouts or fixture designs
