Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and stage equipment and materials for production runs
• Install adjust and calibrate tooling and fixtures according to specifications
• Perform machine changeovers and setups efficiently to minimize downtime
• Conduct first-piece inspections and make necessary adjustments to meet quality standards
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic setup-related issues with machinery and processes
• Optimize machine settings for speed accuracy and material utilization
• Document setup parameters process adjustments and maintenance logs
• Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to ensure smooth operations

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience (2 years) in machine setup changeover and operation within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints schematics and technical specifications.
• Skilled in the use of hand tools power tools and precision measuring instruments (e.g. calipers micrometers).
• Understanding of manufacturing safety protocols and quality control procedures.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Lean manufacturing principles (e.g. 5S Kaizen) or continuous improvement methodologies.
• Basic PLC troubleshooting or programming experience.
• Ability to train and mentor production staff on setup procedures.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting complex engineering drawings and schematics.
