Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Carpenter to construct install repair and maintain structures and fixtures made of wood plywood and other materials. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail knowledge of construction techniques and the ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Key Responsibilities
Measure cut shape and assemble wood and other materials according to specifications
Read and interpret blueprints drawings and building plans
Construct frameworks walls floors doors windows cabinets and trim
Install fixtures such as shelving molding drywall and hardware
Repair or replace damaged structures or fixtures
Ensure all work complies with building codes and safety regulations
Operate hand tools power tools and woodworking machinery safely
Maintain tools and keep work areas clean and organized
Collaborate with supervisors contractors and other trades as needed.
Qualifications & Skills
Proven experience as a carpenter or similar role
Strong knowledge of carpentry methods materials and tools
Ability to accurately measure and calculate dimensions
Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials
Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Good problem-solving and time-management skills.
