Job Overview:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team and work in our Progressive Care Unit (PCU). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in critical care nursing and a passion for providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:

- Monitor and assess patients conditions and vital signs and report any changes to the medical team

- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician

- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans

- Educate patients and their families about their conditions and treatment plans

- Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families

- Document patient care and progress accurately and timely

- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols

- Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Qualifications:

- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in critical care nursing preferably in a PCU setting

- BLS and ACLS certifications

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities

- Flexibility to work day night and weekend shifts as needed
