Interior Technician Slate Aviation
Location: Macon Georgia
Employment Type: Contract / Long-Term Opportunity
Slate Aviation is seeking experienced Aircraft Interior Technicians to support cabin removal and installation refurbishment and interior modification projects at our Macon GA facility. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience working with seating systems monuments panels bins lavs galleys sidewalls flooring and cabin re-assembly in a heavy-maintenance environment.
Responsibilities
Perform interior removal and installation (R&I) on commercial aircraft
Remove repair fit and reinstall panels bins sidewalls ceilings and flooring
Support seating system installation repair and component replacement
Remove and install galleys lavatories closets and monuments
Assist with carpet insulation trim and interior component fitting
Follow AMM SRM EO and engineering work instructions
Support C-Checks inspections and non-routine tasking as assigned
Perform general cabin refurbishment and clean-up as required
Work in coordination with leads inspectors and QA to ensure work meets standards
Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow all safety procedures
Preferred Experience
Experience in MRO or heavy-maintenance interior programs
Commercial aircraft interior R&I or refurbishment experience
Knowledge of seating systems monuments and interior structures
Ability to read and interpret manuals and engineering documentation
Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
Requirements
Minimum 2 years aircraft interior or cabin maintenance experience (or military equivalent)
Must be able to pass drug test background check and compliance onboarding
Must provide own basic hand tools
Ability to work overtime or variable shifts as needed
