Job Summary

We are looking for a Full-Stack Engineer to join our Moderation Team. Moderation touches all areas of product developmentfrom databases and APIs to front-end user experience.

We seek someone who enjoys building features/products end-to-end from architecting backend systems to crafting intuitive user experiences.

Hybrid policy: applicants based in the Netherlands or relocating here are expected to work in the office in Amsterdam 3 times per week. Exemptions may apply to specific cases.

What will you work on

While you wont need to build large frontend systems (we have a dedicated team for that) you should be able to understand the frontend stack and implement changes. With the recent introduction of the DSA and AI Act moderation has become one of our highest priorities. Youll be joining a team that operates with peak efficiency and rapid development cycles.

Well train you in Go if youre experienced with a different tech stack through our 10-week internal onboarding program focused on Go scalability and more. We value solid engineering experience and motivation to learn more than prior language expertise. We offer relocation and visa sponsorship for you to join us in the Amsterdam Office.

Hybrid policy: applicants based in the Netherlands (if living within 60km of the office) are expected to work in the office in Amsterdam 3 times per week. Exemptions may apply to specific cases.

About You

This role requires at least 4 years of backend engineering experience. Were looking with someone with experience in following areas:

Experience with Go
Scalability/database/Redis experience
Experience with Frontend development (React preferably)

Bonus points for:

Experience with AWS or other cloud provider
Python (our AI runs on Python) and Rust experience
Message queues experience
Full text search experience
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field
