Description for HVAC Service Technician:
- Diagnose troubleshoot and repair residential HVAC systems including:
- Air conditioning systems
- Gas furnaces
- Heat pumps
- Ductless mini-split systems
- Perform routine maintenance and tune-ups on HVAC equipment while maintaining appropriate and professional customer service
- Install and service HVAC components such as thermostats air handlers condensers and furnaces
- Inspect HVAC systems to identify issues code compliance and safety concerns
- Perform air duct-related services including:
- Air duct cleaning
- Duct sealing
- Dryer vent cleaning
- Service and repair water heaters including tank and tankless systems
- Clearly explain systems issues repair options and maintenance recommendations to customers
- Complete service documentation accurately and timely
- Follow all safety protocols company procedures and local codes
- Maintain company vehicle tools and equipment in clean working condition
Details for HVAC Service Technician:
- Pay:$20-$30 an hour
- Schedule: Monday through Friday
- Shift Hours: 730AM to 5PM - 8-10 hour work days
Requirements for HVAC Service Technician:
- 2-3 years of hands-on HVAC service experience (residential preferred)
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems controls and troubleshooting techniques
- EPA Section 608 Certification
- Ability to read wiring diagrams schematics and service manuals
- Strong customer service and communication skills
