This role requires mechanical aptitude attention to detail and adherence to safety and quality guidelines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Primary Responsibilities- Assemble components and products following work instructions blueprints and specifications.
- Deburring and painting products.
- Utilize hand tools power tools and other equipment to complete tasks efficiently.
- Perform visual inspections to ensure parts and assemblies meet quality standards.
- Modify Rittal products based on customer requirements.
- Package finished products for shipment or further processing.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with 6-S and safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and team meetings.
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge & Experience- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience in manufacturing or assembly is a plus.
- Mechanical aptitude with familiarity in hand tools measuring equipment and inspection tools.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Physical Requirements- Ability to stand walk bend twist and reach frequently throughout the shift.
- Lift 2550 lbs to waist level and up to 25 lbs above shoulder level.
- Adapt to a fast-paced environment and changing assignments.
Safety Requirements- Safety-toed footwear.
- Safety glasses with side shields.
- Additional PPE as required.
Work Environment- Warehouse and manufacturing areas with exposure to varying temperatures dust and noise.
