Job Summary

Job Description:

The primary objective of this position is to spearhead comprehensive leadership for our array of technological platforms bolstering market operations throughout Northern with the business this role will drive end-to end delivery deployment and support of all applications in this space as well as ensuring the set of platforms bring business value and meet the determined KPIs. This role will report into Business Platforms Director for EMEA and partner locally with Business Leads Operational Managers and jointly will typically be the face of technology to a business function.

From a platforms perspective outlined but not limited to the Business Partner will cover implementations & migrations of the Finance platforms (Marathon D365 Maconomy Concur etc.) HR (Workday) Project & Resource Management (Workfront etc.) New Business and Account Management (Salesforce) Business Insights (various) and internally developed platforms dashboards and reporting solutions.

From an emerging technology perspective AI and RPA feature heavily at dentsu and the role will be expected to contribute in these areas in terms of setting strategy for the cluster advising on possibilities with the business and identifying areas of opportunity to effectively implement AI focused technology to make the business more efficient.

Objective:

This position is pivotal in harmonizing and enhancing the synergy between Enterprise Technology other functions (Finance HR etc.) and the business. It is essential to comprehend the business objectives and technological needs of the enterprise translating them into actionable and attainable work plans that enable the business to operate efficiently at speed and low cost.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partnering with business functionsto devise solutions that align with market demands and brand strategies.
  • Championing the Business Platforms vision and strategy collaborating with business units to ensure the successful delivery and progressive development of both market-specific and global platforms within the region.
  • Facilitating business leadersin the technological oversight of crucial initiatives.
  • Cultivating and preserving the desired systems architectureencompassing enterprise application integration data and infrastructurefor the relevant platforms.
  • Guiding teamsin the deployment and maintenance of applications infrastructure integration and data management solutions.
  • Overseeing the performanceof local platforms & technology vendors and third-party service providers within the cluster.
  • Offering thought leadershipto the Regional Executive on all facets of Business Platforms pertinent to the sector ensuring the business is primed for the future.
  • Building regional competenciesto extend platform services to emerging markets.
  • Assuring that project execution adheres to best practices providing sponsors with all necessary documentation and validation.
  • Serve as the primary conduitbetween Enterprise Technology and the business addressing all enterprise technology requirements.
  • Steer the course of enterprise technology transformationswithin the Enterprise Group.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive project and transition plans ensuring their successful completion while managing any deviations agreed upon with stakeholders.
  • Conduct thorough reviewsto confirm that business applications are in sync with enterprise standards facilitating flawless integration with Enterprise Systems and contributing to the achievement of business KPIs.
  • Align business priorities with delivery capabilities ensuring outcomes meet or exceed business and stakeholder expectations.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to scrutinize plans designs and architectures for applications system integrations cloud hosting data platforms and security ensuring they adhere to industry and security best practices. Effectively communicate these changes within the business across all levels.
  • Ensure the visibility and coherenceof business program delivery to address and resolve cross-organizational challenges and impediments.
  • Promote effective communication and cooperationbetween Enterprise Technology and business teams as well as among all business stakeholders.
  • Identify and advocate for the regional adaptationof applications that have proven successful on a local scale.
  • Oversee the cluster technology budget ensuring fiscal responsibility and cost-effectiveness.
  • Guarantee the provision of high-quality cost-effective technical servicesto the cluster.
  • Foster operational efficienciesthat resonate with the business strategy.
  • Manage relationships and monitor the performanceof all platforms & technology vendors and service providers.

  • Extensive expertise intechnology applications and infrastructure.
  • Strong acumen infinancial managementand budgeting.

  • Ability to comprehendstrategic business objectivesand convert them intotechnical specifications recognizing the role of technology in resolving business challenges and fostering growth.

Experience:

  • Overfive years of leadershipin platform management with some experience with technical operations.
  • Proven track record in implementingmedia applications financial ERPs resource management anddata & reporting solutionsfor media and creative agencies.
  • Excellent grasp of AI and how this can benefit an organization.
  • Holds a relevantbachelors or masters degreein fields such as Computer Science Software Engineering & Business Management.
  • Experience working in amulticultural settingand willingness to travel across Northern Europe countries.
  • Familiarity & confidence with collaborating withC-suite executives.
