Position Overview:

The Delivery Coordinator supports all daytoday sales operations while delivering exceptional customer service. This dynamic role assists with showroom and boat show setup cleaning minor rigging unloading and staging boats administrative tasks photography and website postings. The position reports to the Sales Lead or General Manager.

The Delivery Coordinator must maintain strong product knowledge of all boats motors trailers accessories and safe boating practices. They will complete required training and stay current on new and updated products.

Key responsibilities include conducting customer orientations on new purchases demonstrating product features reviewing service schedules and reinforcing safe boating practices. The role also supports sales by engaging customers in the showroom and at offsite events.

Additional duties include delivering boats to customers transporting boats between store locations and consistently projecting professionalism in appearance and communication.

Essential Functions:

  • Deliver sold boats both on-site & off-site to customers and conduct training with customers to familiarize them with their new boat answer questions and inform customer of recommended service schedule.
  • Conduct check in process for new boats and notate any warranty or shipping damage.
  • Unload new boats and send appropriate paperwork to Sales associate.
  • Transfer inventory between multiple store locations
  • Upsell and demonstrate aftermarket accessories.
  • Keep all inventory on display clean and in showroom selling condition.
  • Ensure delivery boats are in clean and delivery ready condition for the customer.
  • Answer phones respond to emails and greet customers.
  • Maintain a clean and professional sales environment through daily housekeeping and organization.
  • Assist Sales Lead with administrative work
  • Daily use of CRM system

Required Qualifications:

  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication and people skills
  • Ability to Multitask
  • Superior understanding of MS Office/MS Excel and various business software
  • Ability to work cohesively in a team environment
  • Problem solving and strategic thinking
  • Proficiency with basic mathematics
  • Persuasiveness
  • Adequate knowledge of boats and boating safety

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience operating tractors forklifts or other heavy equipment.
  • Prior experience in a customer-facing or sales support role.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and basic administrative tasks.
  • Understanding of boat mechanics electronics and maintenance.

Working Conditions:

  • Performs work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Moves up to 50 pounds and performs tasks requiring physical exertion.
  • Transports boats and maneuvers them in on and out of the water.
  • Traverse docks and uneven terrain.
  • Operates boats motorized vehicles tractors small handheld power tools and other equipment.
  • Uses computers and other office equipment.

Travel Requirements:

This position involves occasional travel across the Southeast to deliver boats using a company vehicle along with travel to annual boat shows and special events.

The anticipated pay for this position is $12.00-$13.00 hourly. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills relevant experience business needs and geographic location.

In addition to your base pay you will earn commissions on boat deliveries as well as protective product applications.

At Brunswick it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the salary range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the specifics of the candidates qualifications and the business context.
