Job Summary
We are seeking aProduct Designerto join our growing digital team. This position will bringa strong blend of strategic thinking user-centric designexpertise and technicalproficiency. This role requires hands-on design work across the product lifecycle from early conceptualization and research to high-fidelity designs and animations with a focus onourwebsite andnative mobile platforms (Android and iOS). As a senior-level designer you will be instrumental in shaping our product vision and creating intuitive delightful experiences for our users.
Your work will directlyimpactour users in the B2B eCommerce space helping them navigate complex workflows with ease and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Design & Collaboration
Partner withproduct engineers andsubjectmatterexpertsto refineand bring theproduct visionto life.
Translate businessobjectivesand advocate for theuserneeds by creating design solutions that align with both theuserexperience and company goals.
Advocate for user-centric design principles and design best practices.
Negotiate across departments and with leadership to make compelling cases based on data best practices or future facing implications.
Design Execution
Develop user personas journey maps wireframes prototypes and/or similar artifacts to communicatedesign concepts and test ideas.
Create low-fidelity wireframes detailed user flows and high-fidelity UI mockups forweb andnative mobile (Android and iOS)ensuringa cohesive digital experience.
Design animations and micro-interactions to enhance usability and delight.
User Research
Conduct user interviews usability tests and heuristic evaluations to gather insights andvalidatedesign decisions.
Use data and research findings to inform and iterate on design solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams toidentifyuser pain points and opportunities.
Collaboration & Delivery
Work closely with developers to ensure design feasibility and pixel-perfect implementation.
Presentdesign concepts and decisions to stakeholders gracefully but rigorously defending designdecisions while also incorporating feedback as needed.
Facilitate and align a group of stakeholders with diverse needs.
Contribute to andmaintaina scalable design system that ensures consistency across all products.
Participate indesign critiques andcollaborate on ways toelevate the overall design qualityacrossweband app.
Qualifications and Skills
Experience:2 years of experience as a Product Designer UX/UI Designer or Interaction Designeracrossnative mobileand webapplications.
Technical Proficiency:
Experienced with design tools like Figma Sketch or Adobe XD.
Skilled in creating animations and micro-interactions
Familiarity with design handoff tools like Figma Inspect.
Strategic Thinking:
Ability to translate business goals and user research into actionable design strategies.
Experience shaping product direction and contributing to roadmap discussions.
Research Skills:
Proficient in planning and conducting user research and usability testing.
Skilled in synthesizing research findings into actionable design solutions.
Soft Skills:
Strong communicationskills to articulate design decisionstostakeholders.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional collaboration and mentor team members.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and a growth mindset.
Experiencedesigning forcomplex workflows or data-heavy applications (e.g. B2B platforms eCommerce).
Knowledge of accessibility standards (e.g. WCAG).
Familiarity with mobile app guidelines (e.g. Material Design iOS Human Interface Guidelines).
Graphic design experiencewithmarketing materials such as flyers banners advertisements logos and branding assets.
Understanding ofAgile/Scrum methodologies and working in fast-paced environments.
