THE ROLE
- Train Process Operators in all aspects of the processing plant equipment including Milling CIL Crushing & the Elution circuit
- Provide training and guidance on the use of our process control system CITECT
- Train Maintenance personnel in machine operations and core competencies as required
- Undertake the development and on-going improvement of a structured training and evaluation system so all Operating employees can increase their skill base to a suitable competency standard
- Maintain Process & Maintenance personnel training matrix and records
- Ensure accurate employee records of training are maintained and regularly updated ensuring that site mobile machinery (front end loader bobcat forklift can be competently operated by processing and maintenance employees)
- Update training procedures and assist with the creating of new training procedures as required
- Co-ordinate external and internal training and deliver training packages and programs relevant to the processing plant including carrying out regular reviews of each persons performance and skill development
- Presenting area inductions for all employees and contractors required to work in the process plant area ensuring they are aware of specific hazards and site requirements
- Presenting site inductions for long term and short-term workers including site access requirements
- Assist with VOC requirements of contractors for shutdown/emergency work as required
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards
- Liaise with Contractors and Stakeholders as required
WHAT DO I NEED
- Current C Class Manual Western Australian drivers licence
- Minimum of 3 years experience within a gold processing plant
- Proven ability to deliver training within processing environments
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40116 or equivalent)
- Experience using INX systems (InTuition & InControl)
- Knowledge in process control and SCADA systems (CITECT)
- Advanced Microsoft skills with the ability to develop training materials and assessments
- Possess the ability to manage all internal training records
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to maintaining a proactive safe working environment
- Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks
- Confined Space Ticket (desirable)
- Gas Testing Ticket (desirable)
- Working at Heights Ticket (desirable)
- Forklift Licence (desirable)
- CN crane ticket (Desirable)
- Qualifications in WHS or related discipline (desirable)
