Job Summary

General Summary of Position:

  • General academic advising for students on program and general education requirements; registration matters; departmental college and university policies and procedures; academic success strategies; financial literacy; graduation requirements; and career options.
  • Manage advise and provide outreach to students with academic alerts on academic warning students readmitting to the university and others that may require added support and contact throughout the semester.
  • Collaborate on student retention initiatives conduct re-enrollment outreach and deliver academic success skills presentations and workshops.
  • Collaborate with the Solution Center Career Services Registrars Offices Admissions and other campus offices to resolve barriers to success and ensure students receive timely information support and guidance.
  • Routinely maintain and update undergraduate student records online via Salesforce CRM.

Minimum Qualifications (Required):

  • Bachelors Degree with experience in higher education or similar field.
  • Working knowledge of Student Information Systems (SIS) and Salesforce CRM preferred.
  • Working knowledge of academic support and student success practices.
