The Executive Corporate Strategy will play a pivotal role in shaping GE HealthCares longterm vision and growth in the China region. Partnering closely with senior leadership this role will lead strategic planning drive business transformation and ensure alignment with global priorities and Chinas dynamic market environment. Also this role will drive the execution of regional strategic initiatives by partnering with China business and functional leaders and delivering impact through rigorous program addition the job holder is expected to manage and develop a highperforming team fostering collaboration and continuous improvement to deliver sustainable business results.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Lead China Strategic Planning Process

  • Own and drive the endtoend strategic planning process for China including macroeconomic and medical equipment industry analysis competitor benchmarking and deepdive assessments.
  • Organize and facilitate BU and modalitylevel strategic analysis on market trends competitive dynamics customer segmentation and GEHC strategic focus and tradeoffs aligned with China regions longterm objectives.
  • Partner with commercial and functional teams to develop medium and longterm strategic roadmaps and investment cases.
  • Ensure alignment with global segment strategy and design China strategy execution plans setting KPIs and accountability across functions.

Oversee BU Strategy Development and Implementation

  • Partner with China BU leaders guide the team of BU Strategy BPs to develop BU-specific strategies operational roadmaps and investment cases.
  • Establish regular review cadences (monthly/quarterly) to track progress identify risks and resolve roadblocks.
  • Provide executive-level updates and strategic performance reports to senior leadership.

Program Manage High-Impact Strategic Initiatives

  • Lead and support China Region strategic initiatives such as Clinical Marketing and Selling Channel Optimization Digital/AI strategy Total Solutions and others.
  • Define project scope timelines and deliverables in alignment with executive leadership.
  • Facilitate strategic workshops to align stakeholders evaluate options and develop implementation-ready recommendations.
  • Manage external consultants and internal teams ensuring alignment and delivery.

Strategic Communication and Stakeholder Alignment

  • Support China leadership in strategic communications and business updates.
  • Collaborate with global and local communications teams to cascade annual strategic priorities across the organization and external stakeholders.
  • Support JV commercial partnerships and innovation initiatives as needed.

Managerial Responsibilities

  • Lead mentor and develop a highperforming strategy team; set priorities allocate resources and ensure delivery of key initiatives.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration accountability and drive Heartbeat behaviors
  • Act as a role model for servant leadership coaching team members to overcome barriers and deliver results.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree from a top-tier university and advanced degree (MBA PhD MD) from top programs are preferred.
  • 1215 years of experience in strategic leadership roles including:
    • Corporate Strategy or Business Leadership in leading Healthcare / Medical Device companies.
    • Strategy consulting with deep exposure to the healthcare sector.
    • Cross-functional experience in Sales Marketing Commercial Operations Supply Chain or Digital/AI is a strong plus.
  • Deep expertise in market analysis customer segmentation product strategy pricing and commercial operations.
  • Proven ability to frame strategic issues conduct structured problem-solving and apply quantitative analysis.
  • Strong analytical financial budget management and project management skills.
  • Demonstrated capability to develop strategy and translate into tactical plans that achieve top-line growth.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trusting relationships in a matrix environment and influence employees at all levels.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in both English and Chinese with strong presentation and storytelling abilities for executive audiences.
  • Proven leadership in managing mentoring and developing highperforming teams fostering collaboration accountability and continuous improvement across functions.
