Journeyperson Gasfitter Class A B

• Schedule: 5 days on 2 days off (10.5-hour shifts)
• Project Scope: Jan 2026 March 2026
• Location: Carseland Alberta (parking available on-site)

Essential Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret drawings and follow code specifications and safety procedures.
• Demonstrates knowledge of industrial piping systems.
• Installation repair and testing / commissioning of gas mains and distribution pipes.
• Working on natural gas pipes - Measure cut thread and assemble pipe using tools such as pipe cutters pipe threading machines and pipe vices.
• Install test and replace defective equipment or components
• Inspect test and troubleshoot

Qualifications:

• Red Seal Gasfitter Certification / Have a Journeyperson Gasfitter - Class A or Class B certification from a recognized provincial training authority
• Physically fit (able to lift 50 lbs. bend kneel crouch and climb stairs regularly)
• Ability to pass pre-access drug and alcohol testing
• Valid Drivers License & reliable transportation (due to project location)
• Additional certifications are an asset:
  • ESC Fall Protection
  • ESC Elevated Work Platform
  • Basic Rigging
