Senior PL/SQL Developer Support Role (Oracle/MySQL/AWS)

RESPONSIBILITIES We are seeking a seasoned PL/SQL Developer with 5 to 6 years of experience to join our database support team. This role demands strong expertise in Oracle and MySQL databases along with hands-on experience managing AWS cloud-based database services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the stability performance and reliability of database-driven applications in both on-prem and cloud environments. Key Responsibilities Provide advanced L2/L3 support for PL/SQL applications across Oracle and MySQL platforms. Diagnose and resolve production issues ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance. Develop maintain and optimize stored procedures triggers packages and complex SQL queries. Monitor and tune database performance using tools like Oracle Enterprise Manager MySQL Workbench and AWS CloudWatch. Manage AWS database services such as RDS (Oracle/MySQL) Aurora and DynamoDB. Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams for cloud deployments backups and disaster recovery. Perform data migrations ETL operations and schema updates across environments. Document technical solutions incident resolutions and support workflows..
REQUIREMENT

Knowledge & Skills) 5 years of IT experience Strong knowledge in Oracle SQL PL/SQL My SQL Strong understanding of relational databases (including tables views indexes table spaces) Querying and manipulating the tables using DDL DML and TCL commands. Develop and modify stored procedures Functions Packages Triggers Views and other database objects. Experience on Migration from Oracle to MY SQL database. Proficient in identifying bottlenecks and optimizing queries. Analyse requirements and design technical solutions to meet business needs. Having experience on Unix/Shell scripting is very helpful. Help determine best design approaches Strong command of Oracle and MySQL database systems including performance tuning and query optimization. Experience with AWS database services (RDS Aurora DynamoDB) and cloud-native database operations. Proficiency in scripting (Shell Python) for automation and monitoring. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines version control (Git) and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform CloudFormation). Solid understanding of ITIL processes and incident/change management tools (e.g.
