Job Summary

In this role you will serve as a CS101 Instructor delivering virtual technical training to employees transitioning from Quality Engineering (QE) into Software Development roles. You will foster engineering craftsmanship promote best practices and support continuous learning across global teams.

Key Responsibilities

Virtually deliver CS101-level courses to employees transitioning from QE to development roles.
Teach online lectures and hands-on labs in:
- JavaScript (Product Engineering track)
- Java (Platform Engineering track)
Facilitate engaging interactive learning sessions for employees across US India and EMEA regions.
Promote a culture of engineering excellence code quality and best practices.
Share knowledge and mentor learners to strengthen software engineering fundamentals.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to continuously improve course content and delivery.

Required (Mandatory) Qualifications

Expert-level proficiency in Java and/or JavaScript.
Advanced facilitation and teaching skills with experience as a:
- Technical trainer or
- University-level Computer Science educator.
10 years of professional software engineering experience with a demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality products.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
Ability to teach effectively in a virtual environment.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Qualifications

Familiarity with the ServiceNow Platform (can be learned on the job).
Experience teaching or mentoring engineers transitioning into development roles.

Work Location & Schedule

Location: Remote (no onsite requirement).
Travel: None.
Schedule:
- Any 3 working days (Monday Friday).
- Sessions are fixed in advance due to course registrations.
- Hours are flexible within 8:00 AM 5:00 PM with coverage required for ET and PT time zones.
- Weekend availability: Not required.
