JOB TITLE: Sr. Mechanical Design Engineer
LOCATION: Tulsa OK
PAY RATE: $65/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Qualifying Questions:

• Are you a U.S. person as defined under ITAR regulations

• Do you meet the educational and experience requirements for this role

Summary:

• Structural and mechanical design for aerospace applications

• ASIC FPGA or component integration and testing (if applicable)

• Conduct supplier audits and quality inspections (AS9100/AS9102 compliance)

• Investigate nonconforming materials and lead root-cause analysis

• Implement corrective/preventive actions (RCCA/8D)

• Review technical documentation manufacturing plans and configuration management

• Collaborate with engineering procurement and program teams

• Provide guidance and support to junior engineers

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Aerospace or a related Engineering field

• 10 years of aerospace engineering experience (Boeing product experience strongly preferred)

• Expertise in structural and mechanical design for aerospace applications

• ABET-accredited Engineering degree.

• Proficiency with CATIA V5 and related CAD tools

• Strong understanding of FAA regulations and aerospace standards

• Travel: Approximately 25 50% to supplier sites

• Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).

Desired Skills:

• Experience with composite materials and advanced manufacturing techniques

• Familiarity with stress analysis and finite element modeling

• Prior involvement in design certification processes
