About the Role
Were looking for a creative design-first visual designer who can elevate how our content looks across YouTube and social media. This role is not about pushing out templated designs its about thinking visually experimenting and designing for attention emotion and clicks.
If you enjoy pop culture podcasts internet trends and understand how visuals influence behaviour this role is for you.
What Youll Do
Design YouTube episode thumbnails that are bold original and optimized for clicks not recycled templates
Create Instagram covers carousels static stories posters banners and other content formats
Experiment with different visual directions depending on the content guest and platform
Translate ideas narratives and hooks into strong visual stories (across platforms)
Stay updated with whats happening in the podcasting creator and pop-culture space
Collaborate closely with the content and strategy team to push visual quality forward
What Were Looking For
A self-starter who doesnt wait for pixel-perfect instructions
Someone enthusiastic about design trends and experimentation across formats
Strong understanding (or curiosity) around YouTube CTR attention hooks and visual psychology
Ability to think beyond make it look good and focus on what makes people stop scrolling
Someone who actively consumes YouTube podcasts creators and pop culture
Tools & Skills
Proficient in Photoshop
Bonus : Proficient in Figma
Bonus if you understand:
- Thumbnail psychology
- Text hierarchy for small screens
- Contrast expressions and storytelling through visual
