Grubbs Acura of Tulsa is seeking an Express Technician. Overall the ideal candidate should be motivated detail-oriented and committed to providing excellent customer service while possessing the necessary technical skills and certifications for automotive maintenance and repair.
Responsibilities:
- Receiving and carrying out Repair Orders.
- Performing entry-level maintenance tasks such as oil changes tire rotations filter replacements etc.
- Conducting diagnostic services and troubleshooting to determine repair needs.
- Providing labor time and parts estimates for repair services.
- Performing video multi-point inspections on vehicles.
- Performing Quality Control checks for repaired vehicles.
- Completing all required paperwork and documentation for repair services.
- Maintaining an organized clean workspace and accounting for tools.
- Communicating effectively with Service Advisors and Parts Department Employees.
- Participating in ongoing training programs to develop expertise in automotive technologies.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- At least one year of relevant experience preferred.
- Knowledge of automotive servicing or repair desired.
- Unrestricted drivers license and clean driving record required.
- Ability to drive both automatic and standard-transmission vehicles.
- Neat clean and professional appearance.
- Excellent communication customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Interpersonal skills to interact professionally with customers vendors and staff.
- Professionalism and dependability.
- Safety and customer service orientation.
- Basic computer and internet skills.
- Physical ability to bend kneel squat stand and lift heavy objects.
- Certification as a state inspector is a plus.
