Director of Nursing (RN) Skilled Nursing Facility
Nocona Rehabilitation and Care Centeris seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to lead and inspire our clinical team. Were looking for a compassionate hands-on leader who is passionate about resident care teamwork and operational excellence.
As the Director of Nursing you will oversee all aspects of the nursing departmentensuring quality outcomes regulatory compliance and a positive collaborative work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide leadership and direction for all nursing staff to deliver exceptional resident-centered care.
Oversee staffing scheduling and performance management for the nursing team.
Develop and implement policies procedures and best practices that ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
Collaborate closely with the Administrator and interdisciplinary team to promote efficient operations and effective communication.
Monitor quality metrics address deficiencies and implement performance improvement initiatives.
Coordinate admissions transfers and discharges in collaboration with clinical and administrative staff.
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure adherence to all reporting and record-keeping requirements.
Foster a supportive team-oriented environment that encourages growth and professional development.
Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas (required).
Proven experience as a Director of Nursingin a skilled nursing or long-term care setting.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) strongly preferred.
Current CPR certification required.
In-depth knowledge of state/federal regulations infection control and quality assurance standards.
Exceptional leadership communication and organizational skills.
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
