Hours per Week: 34.5
Pay Rate: $75$80/hour
Job Summary
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse for a night-shift contract assignment in Brooklyn NY. The RN will deliver safe high-quality patient care collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and adhere to professional nursing standards and hospital protocols.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive nursing care to Medical/Surgical patients
Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
Administer medications IV therapy and treatments as prescribed
Perform IV insertion and phlebotomy procedures
Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes promptly
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Follow infection control safety and regulatory standards
Required Skills & Experience
Minimum 2 years of IV insertion and phlebotomy experience
Minimum 2 years of conscious sedation experience
Strong clinical judgment and patient care skills
Education
Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) from an accredited nursing program
Certifications & Licensure
Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) License
Primary Source Verification through NYSED
AHA Basic Life Support (BLS)
AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) (required for Queens assignments)
